Michael J. Murphy, RCM (Owner/Operator, Property Manager)

Mike Murphy, owner/operator of MJM Management, has managed low, mid and hi-rise condominium properties in the Ottawa area for more than 10 years. By successfully completing industry courses, he has obtained the designation of Registered Condominium Manager (“RCM”). He is also a current member of the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (“ACMO”).

Mike started out his property management career in Ottawa, where he gained significant knowledge and experience during the years spent working with a larger property management firm. During this time, he also built up working relationships with local industry contractors and experts.

In 2009, Mike branched out on his own to form MJM Management, a full service property management business with a focus on condominiums. Through MJM Management, Mike can assist condominium directors in all facets of property management, including finance and administration, contract negotiations, older property repair and replacement of major assets, new condo warranty issues, regular on-site supervision and after hours emergency support.

Mike serves owners in both English and French. His focus is on providing a more personal and direct service, and he has a record of enhancing operations by managing costs and making sure the job gets done to the satisfaction of residents.

Amy Kagerer (Property Administrator)

With over 20 years’ service and administration experience, Amy brings a wide range of skills to MJM Management. In more recent years she has worked as Property Manager and Administrator in a commercial high-rise setting. She has been with MJM Management since its formation, and fully understands the needs of clients.

At MJM Management, Amy looks after all administrative tasks; including accounts receivable/payable, collection of monthly condominium fees and arrears, banking and preparation of monthly financial reports. Amy works alongside contract bookkeepers and auditors (as needed) to ensure your records are kept up-to-date and accurate.
